- Abstract
- Previously, we developed a mobile learning system that allowed students to watch an instructor, the slides and annotations using their tablets in real time. Students could ask questions via text chat. Students, however, found the text chat interaction inconvenient and slow. Thus, based on our observation that one student asks a question at any instance of time, we present a tablet-based synchronous learning system that allows only one student with the floor control to ask questions via audio and video that is multicast to all users. A preliminary user survey shows that regarding user interaction, more than half of the users found the proposed system more convenient and faster than the previous one.
