dc.description.abstractThis study considers the angle-only target tracking problem, which is to estimate the target information (position and velocity) based on both the azimuth and the elevation angle of the target. Incorporating obstacle information into maneuvering target tracking algorithms can produce a better performance when the target's maneuver is caused by avoiding collision with obstacles. Incorporating obstacle information, the target tracking algorithms are developed to track a highly maneuverable target in three dimensions. This study demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed obstacle information aided tracking algorithms using simulations.-
