Abstract
In this paper, we propose a dual-slant polarization metal Vivaldi antenna with a broadband characteristic for a high-power jammer application. The single element of the proposed antenna consists of radiating flares and feeding cavity parts. This single element is then extended to a periodic structure slanted with 45° for a dual-polarization property. For the periodic structure, the VSWR values are under 1.6 from 2 GHz to 6 GHz. In addition, the bore-sight gains of the periodic structure are over -2.5 dBi in the entire operating frequency band. Then, we expand the proposed antenna to a dual-slant polarized 8×8 array antenna. © 2021 IEICE.
