- Abstract
- In an attempt to keep up with the rapid growth of the Korean mobile game market and the various demands of game users, game developing companies are releasing several games into numerous different mobile platforms all at once. The extreme amount of competition between these companies to release more and better games causes them to spend excessive amounts of their budget on game development. Due to this emergence of a diverse mobile platform development setting the need for a commercialized game engine that can support several mobile platforms with just one project is on the rise, in place of the traditional self–developed game engine. The Unity 3D engine can conveniently be converted between operating systems such as Windows, Mac OS, Android, and iOS. This study analyzes game development through Unity 3D and introduces user interface (UI) development methods. © Research India Publications.
