- Abstract
- 우리나라 어린이와 노인의 교통안전은 부끄러울 정도로 취약하다. 본 연구는 교통약자가 안전하게 걸어 다닐 수 있는 근린환경을 조성하기 위한 도시설계 방안을 제안하고자 서울시를 사례로어린이⋅노인 보행자 교통사고에 영향을 미치는 근린의 물리적 환경요인을 공간회귀모형을 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과는 교차로 밀도, 도로면적 비율, 버스정류장 밀도, 지하철역 밀도 등의요인이 보행자 교통사고에 영향을 미치고 있음을 보여주었다. 따라서 도로 횡단 시와 대중교통이용 시 보행자 안전을 위한 도시설계 및 도로설계가 요구된다. 본 연구의 의의는 안전한 보행환경 조성을 위해 근린의 계획적 요인을 도출함으로써 도시설계의 방향설정 근거를 제시했다는 점이다. 더욱 세밀한 자료구축이 이루어진다면 심도 있는 분석을 통하여 안전한 보행환경 조성을위한 연구가 이루어질 것으로 기대된다.
