- Abstract
- Attribute-Based Encryption ABE is a promising cryptographic primitive that allows to implement fine-grained access control. In a CP-ABE scheme, the ciphertext is associated with an access policy while the user's secret key is associated with a set of attributes. A user can decrypt the ciphertext if and only if his attribute set satisfy the access policy specified in the ciphertext. In this paper, we propose an efficient CP-ABE scheme that achieves constant size ciphertext and requires less pairing operations. As distinctive features, our scheme supports both multi-valued attributes and wild-cards which enable expressive access policies. © 2013 International Information Institute.
