Abstract

Long-term climatic data is needed to analyze the climate exactly but the actual data used has a problem about heterogeneity because of the replacement of equipment and the change of the observing point. This study has made a revised algorithm which is objective and logical to have the homogeneity of the climatic data. SNHT(Standard Normal Homogeneity Test) WMO(World Meteorological Organization) proposed was modified for the detection of heterogeneity and the revision procedure to get the homogeneity of the climatic data in the study. When the original data and the data on homogeneity was compared to check the accuracy and application in the algorithm of homogeneity, it could detect an exact inflection point by adjusting standard figures. In the result, it will be useful for the further analysis of the climatic data.
