As the study on preliminary data for this paper was registered to the Korean academic journals (the Architectural Institute of Korea and the Korean Institute of Culture Architecture) through examination, the importance and necessity of the study were verified. The purpose of this study is to function as the database in color research of interior space in the high-speed railway stations by comparing and analyzing interior spatial colors in the Korean and Japanese high-speed railway stations based on the preliminary study through registration of academic journals. In this study, the field trip was practically done in the Korean and Japanese high-speed railway stations. And it drew the data through the field colorimetry for the color status and the results by comparing and analyzing color elements generally by using the NCS color system.
