- Abstract
- 본 연구는 기업들이 경영효율성 제고 전략으로 선택하여 온 ERP정보시스템이 적시성 있는 재무정보의 제공에 기여하는지 살펴본다. 이를 통해 재무보고지연 문제에 대한 대응방안으로 ERP시스템의 고도화 투자가 효과적일지를 예측해 본다. 이러한 목적을 위해 218개 ERP시스템 도입기업과 306개 미도입기업의 표본을 대상으로 1999년부터 2007년까지 총 6년간의 재무보고시차를 조사하여 ERP시스템의 도입여부가 재무보고시차에 미치는 영향이 있는지를 회귀분석 하였다. 그러나 ERP시스템 도입여부를 나타내는 변수의 회귀계수는 통계적으로 0과 차이가 없는 값으로 추정되어 ERP도입효과에 대한 유효한 증거를 입수할 수 없었다.
