- Abstract
- In this paper, we propose an entropy based cooperative-aided routing protocol in mobile ad-hoc networks. The main features and contributions of the protocol are as follows. First, a cooperative data transmission which is based on the constructed routing route using entropy concepts. Second, a direction guided line strategy which can reduce control overhead for route construction. Finally, we present a theoretical analysis of the cooperative-aided transmission. The performance evaluation is performed via simulation using OPNET and analysis. © 2011 IEEE.
