Abstract
This work presents two IP(Integer Programming) problems to optimizes wireless sensor networks in terms of lifetime and energy balancing. The first problem is involved in maximization of the periods which no sensor is depleted with given a network topology and event generation function. While, the second IP model maximizes the minimum residual energy of sensor at a certain time with given a network topology and event generation function. In addition, we also propose a network topology configuration, which is a partially connected network, to reduce the complexity of the IP models. Numerical results show that this approach reduces the computational time of IP models drastically while keeping the qualities of solutions.
