- Abstract
- The efficiency evaluation of RAC (Regional Agricultural Cooperatives) has been continuously studied using DEA (Data Envelop Analysis), whereas the management evaluation method for RAC has been rarely studied since 2004. In addition, utilization of the previous research focusing on the problems and improvements of the old management evaluation method for RAC before 2004 has been gradually decreased because NCAF (National Agricultural Cooperative Foundation) has continuously changed and improved the management evaluation method for RAC. Therefore, it is necessary to update the problems and improvements of the current management evaluation method for RAC. This paper begins with reviewing the problems and improvements discussed by the previous research, then analyzes the problems and improvements of the current management evaluation method for RAC. The paper studies more comprehensive and specific problems and improvements than previous research by covering newly identified problems as well as the remaining unsolved problems suggested by the previous research. The paper presents the problems and improvements by classifying them into three categories: validity of evaluation criteria and method, utilization of key performance index, and utilization of evaluation results.
