- Abstract
- 유아 교육 사이트에서 제공되고 있는 교육 콘텐츠의 증가로 교육 내용과 사용자를 위한 인터랙션이 다양해지면서 유아 교육 사이트에서 사용하는 캐릭터의 비중과 수도 증가하게 되었다. 본 연구는 캐릭터 수의 증가에 따른 교육 사이트 내의 캐릭터의 역할 변화를 고찰하고 이러한 역할 변화에 캐릭터 디자인이 능동적으로 적응할 수 있는 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 대량의 콘텐츠를 다루는 국내 유아교육 사이트에서 캐릭터가 어떻게 사용되고 있는지를 분석하고, 많은 수의 캐릭터를 효과적으로 사용하는 방법을 고찰하였으며, 대량의 콘텐츠를 보유한 유아용 교육 사이트에서의 캐릭터의 역할과 디자인의 특징을 분석하였다. 대상 사이트들에 사용된 캐릭터의 활용에 대한 발견 점을 바탕으로 대량의 콘텐츠를 제공하는 유아용 교육 사이트에서 효과적인 캐릭터를 디자인할 수 있는 가이드라인을 제안하였다.
