고령자를 위한 소형 이동수단 디자인의 조형성 경향에 관한 연구

Abstract

As aging society population increased, a new consumer wanting to manage old age has increased. Unlike the past aged who wanted to live in passiveness, they have a character to move and purchase with their desire and will. Also they have desires to move in their own dynamic accord. But as they become older, due to their physical limits when using preexisting transportation, handling is inconvenient and the increase of car accident has become a social issue. According to these social phenomenon many transportation means has appeared but in safety, convenience, and economical side it's still passive. In japan where silver industry is well developed, there are on-going efforts to form a new market by considering life-cycle and physical limitations of the aged. Therefore this research analyses the problems of preexistent transportation for the aged and present direction through understanding the needs of the market and the design factors of it. Based on this, it is meaningful to reflect the time flow in domestic transportation market to form a base on new transportation design which includes functional, acceptable, and secures safety and access for the aged and also form a market.
