- Abstract
- 이 논문은 스페인 건축사무소 RCR Arquitectes에 관한 연구로 그들의 건축적 특성에서 드러나는 지역성을 분석하여 장소와 건축의 관계를 유추하고 구체화 시키고자 한다. 그들이 세계적인 건축가가 될 수 있었던 계기는 고향 올롯에 뿌리를 두고 건축 활동을 하면서 동시에 세계화를 고려한 보편성도 추구하였기 때문이다. 현재 세계화 시대를 맞이하여 지역정체성을 내포한 건축이 중요한 역할을 한다. 올롯의 지역성을 널리 알린 RCR을 연구함으로써 우리나라의 정체성을 내포한 건축의 발전방안을 고찰하는데 도움이 된다고 생각한다.
