- Abstract
- An innovative method of dynamic speckle is proposed to investigate the drying process of magnetic fluid film (MFF). The evolution of speckle patterns depending on time is simulated in the drying process of MFF using dynamic speckle theory. Then, with time history speckle pattern (THSP) and its gray level co-occurrence matrix (GLCM) methods, the statistical properties of magnetic particles in MFF are analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The investigation shows that the experimental results agrees well with the theoretical simulation. So, the dynamic speckle method is effective to study the drying process of MFF.
