Abstract
In the present study, cyclic and step potential were applied for the electro-deposition, and their effects on chemical composition and surface morphology of the electro-deposited Tl-1223 precursor film were investigated. Cyclic voltammetry resulted in more uniform morphology and homogeneous distribution of composition, provided that proper initiation voltage and potential sweep rate are chosen. Furthermore, the cyclic voltammetry was likely to much facilitate the control of the deposition parameters to obtain an aimed chemical composition.
