- Abstract
- As the demand for leisure time for modern people increases, interest in public libraries, which are education and research facilities, is also increasing. Currently, as the number of programs to send cultural facilities and leisure activities including education increases, modern people 's perception about public libraries is changing. Beginning with these changes, the law on public libraries has been newly revised in terms of society and policy. It is a reality that it is not enough to obtain the satisfaction of the actual user about the composition of the indoor space due to the rapid construction promotion. Analyzing the change of the reading space based on the change of the policy, the influence of the seating arrangement on the behavior of the user is grasped. We analyze the step depth by using Space Syntax and Depth Map for quantitative analysis of book shelf and seating arrangement of reading room. Prior to 2010, seating arrangements did not reflect users' views. There are many single configurations of sociofetal deployments. As the number of libraries with low visual depth has increased since 2010, the complex forms such as Socialofetal and Socialofugal have gradually increased.
