Abstract
Effects of aluminum doping to magnesium oxide film formed via aqueous solution route of salt precipitation process were investigated. Flake type morphology was obtained with the process and their cathodoluminescence and discharge characteristics were evaluated. In addition, luminance and luminance efficiency were measured using test panels. The results indicate that MgO film can be formed via the aqueous solution process successfully, of which characteristics are comparable to those of MgO film formed by e-beam evaporation process.
