The research method compares the cases of public art using upcycling through literature review and case analysis. Then, through content analysis, the value elements of public art using upcycling are extracted. The results of the study are as follows. First, public art using upcycling has the sustainability of reducing resource waste and creating a virtuous cycle in the environment. Second, we can convey the awareness of environmental pollution and the need for environmental protection to the people who appreciate the work. Third, creativity can be achieved by embodying unique and creative works. Fourth, the imagination and visual beauty of the writer are combined to enhance the artistic quality.
