Abstract
There are various parameters linked to each other, such as pressure and temperature of high-pressure bank, dispenser and vehicle tank in hydrogen fueling stations. It is necessary to develop an appropriate simulation program to predict the situation of the stations according to the change in these parameters. It was found that simulation results performed by Aspen HYSYS are in good agreement with Schneider's laboratory test data that followed SAE J2601 of a charging protocol. After validation of simulation, various simulation cases were conducted with several different initial pressures of tank (type IV with 6.3 kg) for light-duty vehicles. Temperature, pressure, and mass flow rate at a high-pressure storage bank, a dispenser, and a vehicle tank were analyzed. NIST REFPROP was selected for the equation of state on the simulation.. © 2023 Begell House, Inc.
