Abstract
There have been a number of recent studies about Content-Centric Networking (CCN), which is the most promising substitute for the Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) network among the many future Internet architectures. Although CCN was originally developed for wired environments, many of these studies have applied it to wireless situations. However, the characteristics of wired and wireless networks are quite different, and the use of CCN in wireless situations can cause various problems. In this paper, improvements to delays in Content Download Time, which occur when Nodes attempt to save parts of chunks under wireless CCN conditions, are discussed. The proposed method reduces the Content Download Time by preordering unobtained chunks from a Node that only has part of a chunk prior to the Consumer's request.
