- Abstract
- 한국 형상미술의 대표적 작가인 한만영의 작품세계를 살펴본 글이다. 한만영은 고대 그리스 로마시대 유물에서부터 조선시대의 진경산수화, 풍속화, 현대 광고이미지까지 기성이미지를 활용하는 작업을 하는 작가다. 이미 여러 이론가들이 한만영의 작품세계를 다루었지만, 이 글에서는 전통과 현대의 대립적 이미지를 차용한 점에 주안점을 두고, 작가가 어떻게 시공간을 초월한 세계에 접근하고자 했는지에 주목하였다.
