Abstract
Korea has witnessed its economic structure changing due to unprecedentedly rapid industrialization, and consumer culture and cultural enjoyment type has become diversified. Accordingly, many new forms of complex culture space sprang up and consumers came to lead an abundant life. However, due to the development focused on economic profits only without consideration of regional historicity and regionality, polarization from cultural, social, regional aspects and regional slumism were brought about on society and region, region and resident, person and people. Particularly, spaces in specific regions came up as unfavorable ones from general aspects and the space advantageous to a region should be able to embrace all the above-mentioned problems. Accordingly, it"s a must to definitely consider the historicity of the region, and it"s necessary to secure the space consisting of contents using regional culture industry. In addition, the behavior done in that space should lead to formation of a sense of fellowship between people and local residents, which should be linked to capability strengthening of local community. Hereupon, this study proposed a form of contents differentiated from the existing complex culture space using the abandoned modern industrial heritage of a region. In addition, this study is intending to draw cultural industry contents of the Changsin-dong area through consideration of modern industrial heritage, complex culture space and cultural industry as well as contents, and analysis of advance cases, and to suggest directivity of complex culture space which is advantageous to the area.
