Abstract
TechniquesformismatchlossminimizationtoincreasethePV system efficiencyareunderdevelopmentrecently. Inthispaper,amethodtomakediagnosisofPV modulemismatchispresented,whichusesaconceptofoperating pointfactor.ThemethodisbasedonthefactthattheratiooftheincrementalconductanceofaPV moduleto instantaneousconductanceis1when themoduleisoperating atitsmaximum powerpoint.Thevariationsof modulevoltageandcurrentaretakingplacebythemaximum powerpointtrackerinthepowerconditioningunits ofPV system.TheeffectivenessofthemethodisverifiedthroughanapplicationtoarealPV system.
