- Abstract
- This paper proposes a novel 5T1C pixel circuit to compensate for the threshold voltage variation of n-channel LTPS TFTs for high-ppi AMOLEDs. SmartSpice simulation is used to evaluate the compensation capability of the proposed pixel circuit, and layout is performed to check the pixel density in 1 inch. The simulation results show that the proposed pixel circuit can compensate for the threshold voltage variation of n-channel poly-Si TFTs, and the layout confirms that the proposed pixel circuit can be integrated into upto564-ppi AMOLED displays.
