Abstract
Many enterprises today integrate e-Business solutions to survive in rival business environment. With e‐Business paradigm shift, one should define and focus management’s responsibilities and efforts on factors critical for e-Business transformation. Russian organizations have shown a steady growth in e-Business, emphasizing the importance of identifying the success factors for effective e-Business implementation. The success factors help to focus management on the critical factors needed for a successful system. This study is to identify those success factors for e-Business development in Russian enterprises. The empirical result of the study shows the following: 1. The success factors were identified from the business and customers’ perspectives. 2. Marketing and IT security factors were identified as the success factors for the Russian enterprises from the customer’s perspectives. 3. IT security and e-Transaction factors were identified as the success factors for the Russian Enterprises from the business’ perspectives. E-Transaction factors in Russian enterprises lack the full integration necessary for providing a significant value for customer satisfaction. The limitation and future directions are also discussed
