- Abstract
- Many smart devices have begun to offer mobile payment systems. One of the fastest growing mobile payment systems is near field communication (NFC) because it is secure and efficient. NFC typically requires a distance of 10 cm or less to initiate a connection. Thus, mobile payment systems based on NFC are continually being developed. However, an NFC-based process is not significantly different from existing mobile payment systems. For that reason, this process is vulnerable to attackers. In addition, it is hard to authenticate users in this system. To solve these problems, we proposed a secure NFC mobile payment system using signatures.
