| dc.description.abstract | 본 연구는 보육 교사의 과학에 대한 태도 및 유아 과학 교육에 대한 인식은 어떠하며, 이는 교사의 배경 변인에 따라 차이가 있는지 알아보기 위한 것이었다. 충남 지역에 근무하는 보육 교사 210명을 대상으로 조사한 결과, 보육 교사의 과학에 대한 태도는 보통 이상으로 나타났으며, 경력 및 과학 관련 경험에 따라 차이가 있었다. 유아 과학 교육의 중요성에 대한 인식은 높게 나타났으며, 과학에 대한 태도가 긍정적일수록 보다 높은 인식을 보였다. 목표 및 내용으로는 지속적으로 탐구하는 태도 기르기와 탐구하는 태도를, 방법 및 교사 역할로는 활동 발견 접근법과 자료 제공자로서의 교사 역할을 높게 인식하였다. 평가에 대해서는 매 학기마다 유아 관찰을 통해 유아의 발달을 평가하는 것이 가장 바람직하다고 인식하였다. 한편, 과학 프로그램의 부족으로 인해 유아 과학 교육을 실시하는 것이 어렵다는 인식이 높게 나타났다. 이 같은 유아 과학 교육의 목표 및 내용, 방법 및 교사 역할, 평가에 대한 인식은 보육 교사의 경력, 학력, 과학 관련 경험, 과학에 대한 태도에 따라 차이가 없었다. 이와 같은 연구 결과가 주는 시사점을 논의하였다. | - |
