Abstract
The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of physical activity or not on the successful aging (physical aspect, social aspect, psychological aspect) of the Chinese elderly. The subjects of this study were 408 elderly people using 5 nursing homes in Shandong Province, China using a convenient sampling method. For the collected data used, frequency analysis was performed on the general characteristics of the SPSS Windows 23.0 statistical program and the degree of participation in life sports, and reliability verification (Cronbach's α) was performed to verify the validity and reliability of each item. In order to analyze the effect of successful aging according to the degree of participation in physical activity in rural areas, correlation analysis was conducted to derive the research results. An independent t-test and one-way ANOVA were performed to verify the difference between the background variables of the study subjects and successful aging (physical aspect, social aspect, psychological aspect) according to participation in life sports. After the implementation, a post-test (Scheffe test) was performed. The analyzed results are as follows. Through this study, it can be confirmed that the degree of participation in life sports has a large effect on the successful aging of the elderly, so much attention should be paid to these results. The general characteristics of the Chinese elderly showed some differences in successful aging. Therefore, through this study, it was found that the elderly's participation in physical activity has a positive effect on successful aging, which played an important role in guiding the successful aging of the elderly in China and is expected to help prepare for an aging society.
