- Abstract
- 본 연구는 국민기초생활보장제도의 개편이 소득증대를 통하여 수급자들의 정신건강(우울, 자아존중감, 자살생각)에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 이를위해, 한국복지패널 10차년도에서 13차년도의 자료를 이용하여 인과매개효과분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 국민기초생활보장제도 개편이 수급자들의 가구가처분소득을 유의미하게 증대시켰다. 또한, 국민기초생활보장제도 개편으로 인한 수급자들의 소득증대는 그들의 우울과 자살생각을 줄이는 한편, 자아존중감을 높이는데 기여하였다. 성별 및 연령으로 구분한 하위집단 분석에서는 국민기초생활보장제도 개편이 소득효과를 통하여 정신건강 향상에 긍정적인 영향을 미치며 특히 여성 집단과 노인 집단에서 그 효과가 두드러지는 것으로 나타났다. 민감도 분석결과 본 연구에서 도출된 주요 결과들은 신뢰할 수 있으며 타당한 것으로 검증되었다.
