- Abstract
- 이순신 별제귀선의 원형에 대한 논쟁이 지속되고 있는 이유는 『이충무공전서』에 실려 있는 1795년 통제영귀선·전라좌수영귀선에 한정된 문헌중심의 연구가 오랫동안 지속되어왔고, 철저한 고증 없이 박물관 전시나 지역의 관광산업 활성화를 위한 목적으로 무책임하게 건조되어왔기 때문이다. 본 연구는 사료에 나타난 조선시대 귀선 전체를 대상으로 크기, 구조, 형태, 편제인원, 무기체제의 변천과정을 살펴봄으로서 이순신 별제귀선을 고증하였다.
