Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of regular combined exercise on metabolic syndrome regulating factors in middle-aged women. Subjects were composed of combined exercise group(n=20) and control group(n=20). Exercised group have performed on a combined exercise at RPE 13-15 of exercise intensity for 60 min./day, 5 times/week for 12 weeks. Exrecise training group had a significant lower value in body weight, BMI and % fat. Furthermore, blood glucose, insulin, lipid profles, cortisol and hS-CRP had a significantly lowered after 12 weeks of exercise training. In addition, blood FGF21, adiponectin and irisin levels were significantly increased compared to control group. From these results, it was suggested that FGF21, adiponectin and irisin have a crucial role in metabolic syndrome regulating factors in middle-aged women.
