- Abstract
- In the case of Controller Area Network (CAN), which is widely used in-Vehicle Networks (IVN), there is a problem that low-priority messages are not transmitted as the number of Electronic Control Units (ECU) increases. In this paper, we propose a technique that compresses CAN data using the BFC algorithm and transmits the compressed data as a single message via Ethernet as a gateway. To evaluate the proposed algorithm, experiments were conducted using real vehicle driving data, and the experimental results are presented. © 2023 IEEE.
