- Abstract
- 최근의 한국고대사 연구는 단순통계상으로 매년 500편이 넘을 정도로 양적 증가의 추세를 보여 왔다. 이러한 양적 증가는 평균적 증가라기보다는 소수 연구자가 주도한 것이었고, 그들은 대학 전임교원 또는 예비후보들이었다. 이 글에서는 최근의 동향과 관련하여 특징적이라고 판단된 이주 문제, 신출토자료, 국가 주도의 역사학 등의 연구동향을 검토하였고, 향후 전망이자 과제로서 환경사의 가능성을 제시하였다. 이주 문제의 경우 주제의 다양화라는 측면에서 선구적이었고, 신출토자료 중에는 목간 연구가 주목되었으며, 국가 주도의 역사학과 관련해서는 유사역사적 경향이 염려되었다. 환경사는 자료부족의 한국고대사 연구에 새로운 시각을 제시할 수 있다고 기대되었다.
