- Abstract
- According to arising of environmental problems such as climatic change, the use of renewable energy is increasing rapidly. Many changes which require the advanced power equipment have been occurred over the power system due to the increase of renewable energy which is connected to conventional power system. Based on the technology of IoT(Internet of Things) and AI(Artificial Intelligence), the Fourth Industrial Revolution is arising. It can be applied to electric power industry and enable to develop the advanced power equipment. In this paper, the technology trend of distribution transformer is investigated and reviewed. In addition, development prospect of distribution transformer is proposed considering various perspectives.
