- Abstract
- This paper presents the voltage balancer with two phase interleaved bi-directional converter based on input parallel output series(IPOS). The proposed voltage balancer is restructured for ESS application in series to respond to voltage drop by using energy stored in energy storage system(ESS). Primary switching operations of proposed voltage balancer are based on bi-directional converter. As results of these methods, bi-polar voltage poles in LVDC distribution can be controlled by single ESS. © 2018 KIEE EMECS (KIEE Electrical Machinery and Energy Conversion Systems).
