- Abstract
- This study aims to analyze the causal loop structure of government R&D investment impact on the field of health technology and to investigate the main problems that adversely affect R&D investment impact from using the Systems Thinking approach. To achieve these purposes, we firstly investigated main causes that affect government R&D impact of health technology field by reviewing the existing studies relevant to government R&D impact and brainstorming of experts on the field of both government R&D management and health technology. Secondly, we built the causal loop diagram explaining government R&D impact on the aspects of 3 categories; technology, industry and public and analyzed the feedback loop structures. Lastly, we drew conclusions with policy suggestions based on the feedback loop structures. It is expected to be meaningful that the study analyzed the causal loop structures of government R&D impact on the health technology field and that provided a reference of government R&D investment decision making.
