- Abstract
- The purpose of the study is not only to introduce Dynamic Embodiment® but also to explore the significance of integrated education inherent in Dynamic Embodiment. In this study, BARRE, the core concepts in Dance somatics, was used to practice Fluid Exercise one of the warm–up exercises in BMD’s 6 phases developed by Martha Eddy, and I analyzed Fluid Exercise with “OSO” model.
As a result, the research participants could adjust their movements? through perceiving their body and achieve great expressiveness in an balanced state of body, mind, and emotion. The Fluid Exercise helped the participants to improve posture, movement and behavior under the integrated education related to somatic movement in ballet class.
