Abstract
In this paper, the improved operation algorithm for parallel 3-phase PWM converter for renewable energy systems is proposed. The proposed algorithm has a higher performance at the light load condition to use 2-phase operation mode on same load conditions with parallel 3-phase PWM converter. To verify the performance of algorithm, theoretical analysis of efficiency is progressed for obtaining the efficient operation region on parallel 3-phase converter. And also using simulation result, the region of lower THD and high PF are obtained. © 2015 IEEE.
