- Abstract
- A CdSe quantum dot encapsulated by ClpP, a bacterial protease, was synthesized and its electrical transport properties were investigated. ClpP-CdSe was shown to act as a semiconductor and display p-type behavior in a field effect transistor device. This study reports a platform technology for the development of novel nano-electrical devices.
