- Abstract
- Routers configure their paths based on theLink State Database (LSDB) in order to meet servicerequirements and Quality of Service (QoS) guarantee.Internet routing can be categorized into intra domain routingand inter domain routing, and QoS should be guaranteed bothat the intra and inter domains for end-to-end QoS guarantee. The LSDB can be easily managed and updated at the interdomain routing in which link state information is not large. On the other hand, routing information is too much to bemanaged in case of using conventional intra domain routingfor inter domain routing destined for large networks. Thepresent Internet uses Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) tosolve the problem. However, the BGP is not suitable for interdomain QoS support because of its path vector base. Thispaper proposes QoS guaranteed inter domain routing usinglink state information in which the LSDB can be efficientlymanaged, and also shows its performance evaluation.
