- Abstract
- In this paper, a Harmony Search (HS), is applied to an Emission ConsideringEconomic Dispatch problem. In optimization process, the HS method only usesinformation of objective function and is applicable to non-differentialfunction. In addition to that, HS is simple for coding and should provideaccurate solutions in optimization problems. For illustrative of theeffectiveness, the HS algorithm has been applied to test power system tovalidate its outperform ability. The result is very encouraging and proves thatHS algorithm is very applicable for solving power system optimization problem.ICIC International © 2009.
