Abstract
High performance quantum dot Semiconductor Optical Amplifiers with penalty free transmission of 10 Gb/s signal with gain of ∼8.2 dB and 40 Gb/s transmission with pattern-effectfree, wide open eye have been demonstrated. ©2009 IEEE.
