Abstract
The obvious changes in voice caused by intoxication, such as pitch, tone, amplitude, and formant, are already take into account as the basic parameters of the sobriety test in previous studies. During the process of separating the high frequency from a low one, minimizing environmental factors can allow for a better analysis. This paper examines the speech of individuals before and after intoxication and attempts to set a new parameter to better process the vocal impacts of intoxication for applications in voice sobriety test. The use of difference signals as a new parameter for speech processing increases the recognition rate of intoxication judgment for various speeches in a variety of conditions. © 2014 International Information Institute.
