Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of on aerobic and thera-band combined exercise on cerebral blood flow, BDNF, and aging-related hormone in elderly women. Fourteen elders(women = 24) participants in combined exercise progrem for 12 weeks. They were training for 60 minutes a day and three times per week. Statistical Data was processed by SPSS(Windows Version 12.0) using descriptive statistics regarding the physical characteristics of subjects as well as each variables(cerebral blood flow, BDNF, aging-related hormone). The difference of within and between in two group was analyzed repeated measures ANOVA, significant level was set a = .05. The results were as follows: cerebral blood flow(MFV, PI, RI), there was significant difference according to the measurement, The results of BDNF and aging-related hormone(growth hormone, melatonin) a were significantly increased. In conclusion, combining Aerobic and thera-band exercise programs during 12 weeks has a positive effect on not only cerebral blood flow, but it also developed brain derived neutrotrophic factor and hormones contingent upon aging for elderly women.
