- Abstract
- Abnormal dilations of arteries or veins are called aneurysm. There is a pseudoaneurysm which does not have the structure of arterial wall. The patient with a pseusoaneurysm should be treated as soon as possible to avoid potential dangers from it. Here, we made a model of a femoral pseudoaneurysm to study its hemodynamics, which help to develop new treatment methods that reduce a recurrence and side effects from treatments. We interpreted hemodynamics in a femoral pseudoaneurysm and found that there is continous and repetitive pressure to the pseudoaneurysm wall and that the pressure is bigger in the 90A degrees model than in the 45A degrees model.
