This paper discusses major challenges for South Korea's Africa relations after the 4 th High-Level Forum of Development Assistance Committee of Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development in Busan on November 28 th to December 1, 2011. More specifically, this paper deals with questions of whether South Korea is ready to assume leadership of a shift in paradigm that actually results in effective development outcomes based on direct engagement with the aid recipients. In particular, this study diseusses the relevance of South Korea's post-Busan Official Development Assistance (ODA) in South Korea's relationship with African countries. With emphasis on the nature of South Korea-Africa relations, this study offers some suggestions for enhancing South Korea's Africa relations in the context of existing South Korean ODA to Africa as well as within the context of the new international aid architecture.-
