| dc.description.abstract | 서울은 600년 이상의 역사를 지닌 세계적 도시로 성장하였다. 그러나 도심 중심부 즉, 종로 일대에는 역사적 흔적을 거의 찾아볼 수 없고 해마다 찾아오는 관광객의 수요 증가와 함께 볼거리 제공에 대한 관심이 커지고 있다. 특히, 피맛골(피마길)이라 불리는 종로2가 YMCA 관광호텔 골목에서 시작하여 종로2가 로터리까지 이어지는 좁은 골목은 최근 재개발로 인해 공사가 많이 진행되고 있으며 이미 여러 단계에 걸쳐 완료된 상황이다. 종로구는 피맛골 보존을 위한 지침을 만들었으나 디자인 요소는 없는 것으로 파악되며 지나치게 포괄적이다. 이러한 측면에서 구도심 역사성 보존을 위한 디자인의 기초 요소를 연구하고자 하였다. 연구의 핵심인 디자인 기초요소를 파악하기 위하여 종로구의 개발계획의 문제점을 파악하였으며, 피맛골 관련 문헌조사, Active Logs 및 현지 방문조사를 통해 자료 수집 및 분석하였다. 디자인의 기초요소를 총 5가지를 선정하여 사례와 긍정적 정책 방향을 제시하였다. | - |
