Abstract
In this study, the effect of the perceived characteristic about the security of the users on the security intensification from app store user's point of view is investigated. The perceived characteristic of the users about the security has been categorized into media characteristic, individual characteristic and social influence and the empirical study has been proceeded. The result of the research implies that the application store users need the security education and the notification of guidelines for the conception of such things as vulnerability, anonymity, security procedure, value of user's information, subjective norms, risk awareness, and security usefulness in order to intensify the security of them, and that when the security education and the notification of the guidelines were implemented according to the user's job, they are more effective.
